Discover Salzburg in the footsteps of one of the great musical geniuses on this Mozart tour of the Austrian city. You'll also visit Mozart's Birthplace!
Salzburg Mozart Tour
Our guided tour of Mozart's Salzburg begins at Mirabellplatz. Not far from this central meeting point, we'll find Schloss Mirabel, an early 17th century palace. We'll admire its elegant architecture and beautiful gardens while hearing about the love story that lead to its construction.
A few steps from the palace is the Mozarteum music school, where we'll stop and learn about the main milestones in the life and work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of the most influential figures in the history of music.
Continuing on our panoramic bus tour, we'll see the façade of the Dreifaltigkeitskirche or Holy Trinity Church. This baroque church is one of the most spectacular in Salzburg's old town, where a large number of churches is one of the reasons the charming area has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We'll then make our way to the bridges that span the Salzach River and cross to the other side. In this part of the city, we'll visit the area around the Nonnberg Abbey, where Mozart premiered one of his great religious pieces of music. Do you know which one?
Our tour will come to an end in Getreidegasse, the location of Mozart's Birthplace, and we'll enter the house museum to discover more fascinating facts about the composer.
