Day Trip to Montserrat
Description
We'll collect you at the scheduled time from the different meeting points in Santa Susana and then we'll make our way by bus to Montserrat, the most famous massif monastery in Catalonia.
We'll then change vehicle and hop onto a cog railway which will take us to the monastery of Montserrat, founded in 1025. You'll be able to tour the famous monastery at your own pace to really feel the strange energy that flows through this place. According to gossip, the mountain is hollow and contains telluric currents flowing within. Can you feel it?
As well as taking in the amazing views that Montserrat offers, we also recommend visiting the basilica, where the black virgin known as "La Maroneta" is found - a true symbol of Catalonia.
Passing through the monasteries we'll begin to understand why this magical place has been linked throughout its history with UFO sightings, the search for the Holy Grail and many other interesting facts that'll leave us with goosebumps.
To regain some strength, don't miss out on eating at some of the local restaurants and enjoy some Catalan cuisine in an unrivalled environment.
Once we've finished visiting Montserrat, we'll descend the massif and return to the bus. We'll be on our way back to Santa Susana 9 hours after pickup.
