Trip Details
Day 1
Let's start our journey! At the indicated time, we'll meet at your chosen meeting point and drive to the La Virgen spa, where we'll enjoy the beautiful scenery and crystal clear waters.
Our next stop will be the Los Pocitos spa, located on the edge of a paradisiacal beach. From there, we'll continue the route towards Los Patos beach, where we'll admire one of the most paradisiacal beaches of the southern coast of the Dominican Republic. We'll continue our route towards the Parque Eólico los Cocos, where you'll be able to take pictures of its big windmills.
We'll take a break at a local restaurant for a delicious traditional lunch. Next, we'll go to Arroyo Salado, where we'll see a natural pool hidden among mangroves. After admiring the scenery, we'll continue our route to the Bahia de las Aguilas, on the south coast of the Dominican Republic, towards the border with Haiti.
Lastly, we'll end the day in the Dominican city of Pedernales. In this town, located very close to the Bahia de las Aguilas and the border with Haiti, we'll enjoy a delicious dinner in a local restaurant.
Finally, we'll visit the Malecon of Pedernales at night and take you to a centrally located accommodation in the town, where you'll spend the night.
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel in Pedernales, we'll go to the famous Cueva de los Pescadores. Once there, we'll change means of transport and board a speedboat to sail to Bahía de las Águilas. Did you know that its sandy beach is considered to be one of the most crystalline beaches in the world? In this paradisiacal place, we'll have a delicious Dominican lunch.
The next stop will be at the Los Pozos de Romeo spa, a beautiful cenote with crystal-clear fresh water. From there, we'll continue to the San Rafael Spa, where fresh and salt water merge.
You can take a refreshing swim in this beautiful place, where we'll also enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch, we'll return to the pickup points, where we are expected to arrive at 9 pm.
Pickup Info
This activity includes pickup, at the indicated times, at the following meeting points:
- Santo Domingo: pickup at 6 am at the plaza de La Lira or plaza Duarte, depending on availability
- Baní: pickup at 8:30 am at the Perelló Museum or at the parador Cruce de Ocoa, depending on availability
Accommodation
The tour includes one night of accommodation in a double room at the Don Oleo Méndez or Doña Chava hostels, or similar.
