Experience spring time in Tokyo discovering the beautiful cherry blossom trees in Ueno Park and Shinjuku Gyoen Park, and enjoy a boat trip on the Sumida River.
Cherry Blossom & Sumida River Cruise
After meeting at 1:15 pm in front of the Cocoon Tower, we'll begin one of the best activities to do in Tokyo in spring: admiring the enchanting cherry blossom! We'll take the train to Shinjuku Gyoen Park, just a 30 minute journey away, ready for an unforgettable afternoon.
Reaching Shinjuku Gyoen Park, you'll have an hour and a half of free time to explore one of Tokyo's magical gardens. This oasis of peaceful nature offers you several different areas to admire the blossom of the emblematic Japanese cherry trees.
We'll then meet back up again and head to Ueno Park, where you'll have another hour of free time to get lost amongst over a thousand cherry trees and their famous pink and white flowers. This park is also home to temples, museums and a large pond, so you'll have plenty to explore!
Having made the most of our time in the two cherry blossom filled parks, we'll catch a train to Asakusa Station. There, we'll take a walk around the surrounding area, where we'll find the Sensoji Temple, the oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo.
At 6:30 pm, as the sun begins to set, we'll embark on a boat trip and enjoy a 45 minute cruise on the Sumida River, admiring the Tokyo skyline from a new perspective!
The tour will come to an end at 7:15 pm, after the boat cruise.
