Crab Fishing in the Beagle Channel
After picking you up at your hotel in Ushuaia, we'll drive to Puerto Almanza. The drive there is an attraction in itself, as we'll pass through beautiful native forest landscapes.
On the way, we'll stop at the Victoria Lagoon for refreshments, and then continue on to our destination. Once we arrive at Puerto Almanza, the southernmost fishing port in Argentina, we'll walk for about 40 minutes to the Cascada del Duende waterfall, and then to a pleasant fishing village.
Then, we'll board a boat and try out one of the most famous activities in the area: crab fishing with nets. We'll spend a quarter of an hour throwing our nets into the water and waiting to catch crabs – an unforgettable experience!
After this fishing activity, we'll enjoy a delicious 3-course crab lunch, including water and wine.
After lunch, we'll return to Ushuaia. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled for 4:30 pm.
