Day Trip Details

We’ll meet at the Sihlquai bus parking area at the scheduled time and set off from Zurich toward the canton of Bern. In central Switzerland lies the Jungfrau region, where the beautiful town of Interlaken awaits us.

During the journey, we'll learn interesting facts about the region's history and nature. We'll also pass notable landmarks such as the Brünig Pass, located 1,008 m (3,307 ft) above sea level.

Upon arrival,  you'll have 7 hours of free time. You can use this time to explore Interlaken at your own pace, visiting highlights such as Höhematte Park, the bridges over the Aare River, and the charming streets of the old town. It’s also a perfect opportunity to taste delicious Swiss cuisine.

You’ll also have the chance to enjoy various activities on your own in Interlaken, such as taking the funicular to the Harder Kulm viewpoint, enjoying a boat ride on Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, or experiencing adventure sports like rafting or canyoning.

In the afternoon, we’ll meet again at the designated location in central Interlaken. From there, we'll begin the return journey to Zurich, ending this 12-hour day trip back at the original departure point.
