At the agreed time, we'll meet at José Estevão Avenue to start our tour of Costa Nova, one of the most charming beaches in the area. Are you ready to explore the Ria de Aveiro?
We'll start walking along this beautiful beach, which has become a favorite among locals to practice water sports such as windsurfing or kitesurfing - the waves here are perfect for it! Of course, we'll visit the famous colorful striped houses, the most iconic place in Costa Nova. You'll get the most amazing pictures for Instagram here, or if you don't do social media, it'll still be the perfect memento to remember your trip by.
Then, we'll head to the Nautical Club of Costa Nova, another of the most photographed spots on this beach of Aveiro. So cameras at the ready! We'll also learn who exactly was José Estevão and why he is often linked to the Portuguese writer Eça de Queiros.
Not only that, but this tour will also include a visit to a traditional fish market and a cream cake shop. Anyone with a sweet tooth?
After an hour and a half, we'll finish this tour of Costa Nova with a pleasant walk along the golden sand of one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal.
