Did you know that the "Virgin of Montserrat" was found in a cave? And that her monastery can be found on the "magic mountain"? Discover all this and more on this excursion.
Montserrat Day Trip
The tour meets first thing in the morning, hitting the road and heading to the province of Monistrol. Here we'll climb aboard a train, taking us up to Montserrat, where we'll find its imposing monastery, founded almost a thousand years ago in 1025.
Once we're there, the monks will receive us with a tasting of their very own liqueurs. Then you'll have free time to explore the area, considered by many to be an area charged with strange energies...
from here we'll also see the incredible views of Catalonia, and can enter into the basilica itself, where you'll find the figure of the Our Lady of Montserrat, known as 'La Moreneta'. And you'll hear the strange stories relating the UFO sightings here, or even the search for the Holy Grail!
Then we'll eat in a local restaurant, before finally returning to the met point in Blanes.
All of our providers comply with local legislation and applicable health recommendations regarding protective material and safety to help avoid the spread of Covid-19.
