Trinity Inlet Boat Ride
Tour Details
At the appointed time we will meet at Marlin Harbour to board a boat that will take us along the Cairns coastline to Trinity Inlet.
As we sail, we'll be immersed in the unique surroundings of Trinity Inlet, an oasis of mangrove forests just minutes from the city. The rich biodiversity of this area is captivating, with the chance to spot sea eagles soaring overhead and perhaps even catch a glimpse of saltwater crocodiles basking on the banks before slipping into the water.
The inlet's ecosystem is teeming with life, from fish like mangrove jacks and barramundi to the mangrove root systems of the mangroves themselves. As we journey through this extraordinary environment, our guide will provide fascinating insights into Cairns’ maritime history and the wildlife that calls these waters home.
The inlet is also home to numerous abandoned boats—can you guess why? We'll learn all about it! Throughout the cruise, we'll refreshments while soaking up the peaceful atmosphere of this lesser-seen side of Cairns.
After 1 hour and 15 minutes of exploration, we'll return to the starting point, leaving you with unforgettable memories of this unique waterway experience.
Children Under 2
Please note that children under 2 can travel for free, but they'll have to sit on their parents' lap, as they won't have their own seat.
