Private Tour to the Iberá Wetlands
Private Tour to the Iberá Wetlands
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Corrientes and head to the Iberá National Park. Did you know that this park is home to one of the largest wetlands in South America?
We'll drive 150 km to either Portal San Nicolás or Portal Carambola, depending on the day. Once there, we'll tour the area to see the flora and fauna of the park up close. We'll find various native animals such as birds, capybaras, and deer!
Then, we'll go on a canoe ride through the Iberá wetlands. Be careful! Throughout this 2 km trip, we'll see aquatic animals such as the famous caiman yacare and the broad-snouted caiman.
After crossing the waters of the largest wetland in Argentina, we'll take a 1-hour break for a picnic lunch. The picnic will include a drink, Paraguayan soup, empanada, and fruit.
Next, the route through the Iberá wetlands will take us to the Luna Lagoon, aka "the sea of the Corrientes province"? Find out how it got this name on the tour!
Finally, after 11 hours of excursion, we'll drop you back off at your hotel in Corrientes.
