At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Flores and head to the Mayan city of Yaxhá, located in the jungle of the Guatemalan Petén.
After about a 1.5-hour drive, we'll enter the Mayan ruins, where we'll discover one of the largest urban centres of this ancient civilisation. Along the way, we'll learn about some of the main legends of this archaeological site.
We'll also visit the Minor Astronomical Complex, the Temple of the Red Hand, the Twin Pyramids, the Acropolis and the Plaza of the Columns, among other must-see sites in the area.
After enjoying a tour of Yaxhá, you can refuel with the food you brought with you. With this good taste in your mouth, we'll head to a spot in Yaxhá to watch an unforgettable sunset, the finishing touch to the tour!
We'll end our day trip to Yaxhá by returning to your hotel in Flores, where we'll conclude this 6-hour day trip.
