Genoa Palace & Aquarium Ticket

Visit two of Genoa's main tourist attractions with the Genoa Palace and Aquarium Ticket. Discover the marine life and architectural legacy of the Italian city.

Genoa Palace

The Royal Palace of Genoa named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2006, was constructed in 1618 for the Balbi family, later passing onto the Durazo and Savoy families and finally to the Italian state in 1919. With this ticket, you'll explore the 17th-century building as you wander through its luxurious rooms such as the throne room, the ballroom and the Hall of Mirrors.

You'll also discover numerous paintings and sculptures from different periods, specifically Baroque and Rococo.

Opening Times

The Royal Palace of Genoa is open Tuesday to Sunday at the following times:

  • Tuesday to Friday: 9 am - 6:30 pm
  • Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays: 1:30 - 7 pm

 

Final entry is half an hour before closing. The Royal Palace isn't open on the 1st of January or the 25th of December.

Genoa Aquarium

Discover the marine life in Europe's largest Aquarium, including sharks, dolphins, penguins, seals, tropical fish and many more in the Genoa Aquarium. There are up to 15,000 specimens! You'll also have the opportunity to touch the fish and mammals at some of the open pools.

Opening Times

Genoa Aquarium is open every day at the following times:

  • November to February: Monday to Friday 9:30 am - 7:30 pm; Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 9 am - 8:30 pm.
  • March to June; September and October: Monday to Friday 9 am - 7:30 pm; Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 8:45 am - 8:30 pm.
  • July and August: Monday to Sunday 8:30 am - 10 pm.
  • 19th April to 5th May: Monday to Sunday 8:30 am - 9 pm.

 

Final entry is an hour and a half before closing time. 

Temporary closure

Due to maintenance works, the seal tank will be closed from 17th February to 3rd March.
