Discover all western Cuba has to offer on this 7 day tour. You'll discover Havana's historic buildings, the rural culture around Viñales, the idyllic beaches in Varadero and much more.
7 Days in Cuba
Day 1: Havana - Viñales
We'll pick you up from Havana airport and start the two hour and a half journey to Viñales. Once we arrive we'll take you to your accommodation.
Day 2: Viñales
The day will start by enjoying breakfast, then leaving the hotel at 9 am to explore the Viñales Valley. Our first stop will be the Los Jazmines viewpoint before passing by the Dos Hermanas valley, where we'll marvel at the 120 metre long Prehistoria Mural. Did you know that this painting on the cliffside at the foot of the Sierra de Viñales took 4 years to complete?
Next, we'll go to a tobacco field and visit a local farmer's house where you'll be welcomed with a coffee. Then we'll take a step back in time to the 19th century at the Mayan archaeological site: Palenque de los Cimarrones. We'll also take a boat ride around the symbolic Indio Cave, the prehistoric rock art site.
Afterwards, we'll have lunch at a traditional restaurant and head back to the accommodation in Viñales.
Day 3: Viñales - Havana
Once we've had breakfast we'll take in the beautiful Cuban landscape for two hours as we drive to Havana. You'll then have the afternoon free to enjoy the city. At 7 pm we'll meet back up to explore the Prado Promenade, Central Park and the Capitol, and arrive just in time to see one of the most deep-rooted traditions in Havana: the Cañonazo Ceremony at 9 pm. It has been celebrated since the 18th Century!
Finally, we'll go back to the accommodation in Havana.
Day 4: Havana
After having breakfast we'll discover Old Havana. Here, we'll experience a journey through time from the colonial period and the Revolution to present day as we pass by the Capitol, the Gran Teatro, the Bacardi building, the Old Square and the symbolic Ambos Mundos Hotel. Did you know it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982?
Then we'll go back to the accommodation, and you'll have the afternoon free.
Day 5 & 6: Havana - Varadero
On this day we'll leave Havana en route to Varadero, which will take two hours, and when we arrive we'll head straight to the all-inclusive accommodation. You'll have two days free to relax at 'the largest beach in the world'.
Day 7: Varadero - Havana
Once we've had breakfast we'll head back to Havana, and on arrival, the tour will end by taking you back to the airport.
Children under 2 years old will participate for free, as long as they share a room with the adults that they are being accompanied by.
