Santana Island Boat Ride + Hiking Tour

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Macapá and head to the Igarapé da Fortaleza port in a minibus. Here, we'll embark on a serene boat ride along the Amazon River.

For an hour, we'll navigate while admiring the lush Amazon rainforest until we reach Santana Island. We'll disembark at Recanto da Aldeia Beach, a river bay where you'll have 30 minutes of free time to take a refreshing swim.

Next, we'll embark on a hike through Santana Island, delving deep into the rich plant and wildlife of the várzea forest, a characteristic ecosystem in this area. We'll walk down the Samaúma Trail, taking in the streams, ancient trees, and huasaí palm plantations.

After the hike, we'll recharge by enjoying a traditional lunch of fresh fish. You'll also have the opportunity to taste açaí, a fruit with powerful antioxidant properties from the huasaí palm.

Finally, we'll return to the boat and conclude the activity back at your hotel in Macapá after a total of six hours.
