Routes and stops
The tourist bus of Messina follows two routes lasting 50 and 90 minutes. Throughout the journey, you can listen to English language audio commentary on the fascinating locations that you are passing. The bus makes stops at the city's top sights, including the Piazza Duomo square which is home to the Cathedral, via Garibaldi street, the waterfront promenade, the Shrine of Christ the King, and the enchanting Villa Mazzini.

How it works
The ticket for the Messina tourist bus is valid for 24 hours. During this time, you can climb on and off any of the busses, at any of the stops, as many times as you want. This makes it easy for you to discover wonderful landmarks such as the Ringo church, the Fountain of Neptune, the Vittorio Emanuele theatre, and the statue of Don Giovanni.
Times and frequency
The Messina tourist bus operates between 6 April to 15 October. Please consult the timetable for the most up-to-date schedule:
- Red line: departs every two hours from 9 am to 2 pm. The route lasts a total of 90 minutes.
- Blue line: departs every 50 minutes, from 9 am to 2 pm. The route lasts 50 minutes.
