Admire the breathtaking landscapes of southern New Zealand and discover their typical products with this tour of Queenstown, Arrowtown and Gibbston.
Queenstown, Arrowtown & Gibbston Tour
We'll meet at the Queenstown bus station at 1 pm, where we'll board a minibus and set off for our first stop: Arrowtown.
When we arrive we'll go on a short guided tour to show you the town's main attractions, including the Chinese Settlement. Afterwards, you'll have an hour of free time to explore at your leisure. When we meet up again we'll head to a honey factory, where we'll learn all about beekeeping in New Zealand. We'll also have the opportunity to taste the country's most typical honey products, including manuka.
Our next stop will be Kawarau Bridge, the first place in the world where bungee jumping was done and the reason Queenstown is known as the adventure capital of the world! Afterwards, we'll head to the Gibbston Valley to admire its extensive vineyards and taste its local cheeses.
On our way back to Queenstown, we'll stop at Lake Hayes, also known as the mirror lake because of its crystal clear waters. We'll also stop at the top of a hill to admire some of the best views of Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu.
The tour will end back at the starting point at 5 pm.
