Day Trip Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar at the indicated time and head to the northern part of the island. There, a boat will be waiting to take us to the beautiful islets of Tumbatu and Mwana na Mwana—whose name means “baby of the baby,” as Tumbatu itself is considered the little sibling of Unguja.
As we sail across the turquoise waters, we'll take in the stunning coastal scenery and prepare for an unforgettable adventure. Once we arrive, we’ll head straight to the western side of the island, where one of Zanzibar’s most vibrant coral reefs awaits us. This area is considered one of the best snorkeling spots around Unguja.
We'll dive into the clear waters and snorkel above colorful reefs teeming with tropical fish. With a bit of luck, we might even spot a sea turtle lounging peacefully among the corals. In between snorkeling sessions, the friendly boat crew will serve fresh fruit and soft drinks to keep us refreshed and energized.
After enjoying the reef and marine life, we'll begin our journey back to the island and return to your hotel, wrapping up the day, 5 hours later.
