Zurich Free Tour
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll start our free tour of Zurich from the Bahnhofbrücke Bridge, located in front of the Central Railway Station. Ready to discover Switzerland's largest city?
After a brief introduction, we'll start by heading to the Central Polybahn station, where we'll take a funicular to the Polyterrasse ETH, to enjoy beautiful views from its panoramic terrace.
We'll take the funicular back to the departure station for a walk through the picturesque Niederdorf district. Further south, we'll pass by the iconic Cabaret Voltaire and Spiegelgasse 14, where Lenin and his wife lived during World War I. We'll also stop at the famous Grossmünster church.
Along the walk we'll also talk about other historical figures linked to Zurich, such as Charlemagne, Napoleon and Einstein, among many others. Afterward, we'll cross the Limago River over the Münsterbrücke bridge. On the other side of the river, the Lindenhof district awaits us. In this district of narrow and picturesque medieval streets, we'll spot different monuments, among which the churches of St. Peter and Fraumünster stand out.
Finally, after a 1.5-hour tour, we'll conclude the free tour in the old town of Zurich.
