Croatian Folklore in Čilipi
After being picked up from your hotel in Dubrovnik, you'll set off in the direction of Čilipi, a small village located near the city's airport. In this picturesque town, you'll experience a tradition that takes place every Sunday, joining the locals in watching a folklore show.
Before watching this unique performance, however, you'll first have the opportunity to visit Čilipi's church, museum and its wineries. You'll get to taste the delicious Travarica brandy, typical local sweets, and the traditional Prošek wine - cheers!
Following this introduction to Croatian culture, the folklore show will begin, and you're sure to be captivated by the elegant traditional costumes worn by the dancers. Feel the magic of this age-old ritual and the enchanting rural landscapes surrounding you.
Finally, you'll head to Cavtat, another small town located on the Adriatic Coast, and considered to be one of the most beautiful in Croatia. After admiring its picture-perfect sights, you'll make the return journey to Dubrovnik, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel.
