Rome Day Trip by High Speed Train
Allow yourself to be seduced by the charm of the Eternal City with this day trip to Rome. The beautiful Italian capital will capture you, just as it did for Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday.
Rome Day Trip by High Speed Train
At 6:40 the tour meets in the main hall of Milan's Central Station. Here we will give you your trian tickets and everything you need for your day trip.
At 10 am we will arrive at the train station Roma Termini, in the Italian capital. Here you can begin by visiting the Eternal City in a hop-on hop-off tourist bus. The ticket is valid for 24 hours, and is included in the price of the trip. This bus will allow you to get to know the main Roman monuments in total comfort. It will aslo function as a means of getting around the city, as you can get on and off as many times as you like throughout the day.
The Rome guide and plan which we will give you, contains advice for making the most of your visit to the city of the Ceasars. You can begin in the imperial area: the Colosseum, Forum and the Palatine Hill.
Just around the corner from these monuments stands the Piazza Venezia. If you take the Via del Corso from here you will arrive at the Trevi Fountain. Its recent restoration will allow you to enjoy the beauty of its cascades. To have a bite to eat we recommend the restaurants around the Campo de' Fiori or the typical trattorias of the Trastevere, the picturesque neighbourhood on the banks of the river Tiber. Having said this, Rome offers a wide range of food for all tastes and pockets.
Around 5:40 pm we reunite in the Roma Termini station where we will take the train on which we return to Milan. arriving around 9 pm.
