Shamanic Ayahuasca Ceremony
When selecting this activity, you can choose between a 2, 3, 4 or 7 day spiritual retreat. All the options include collection to and from your hotel in Rurrenbaque as well as provided transport to the retreat centre, where you'll enjoy a few days of pure mind cleansing.
2-Day Ceremony
Once we arrive at the retreat centre, we’ll take a walk to familiarise ourselves with the facilities. After an introductory talk and a briefing on the ceremony, we’ll take a break until 5:30 pm for a 90-minute meditation session.
Following the meditation, we’ll have another break until 9 pm, when the ceremony begins. We’ll gather again in the temple for this highly anticipated moment. The evening will start with a short meditation, followed by the main ceremony, during which the shaman will guide us inward through sacred chants and the traditional drink.
The ceremony will end between 2 am and 3 am, after which we’ll head to bed. At 8 am, we’ll get up to share breakfast and have a group conversation to reflect on the experience. Between 11 am and 12 pm, you’ll be taken back to your hotel.
3-Day Ceremony
Day 1: After arriving at the retreat center and allowing time to explore the surroundings, we'll meditate. Between 4 and 5 pm, we'll meet for the initial talk and introduction to the ceremony. Afterward, we'll have dinner and you can rest.
Day 2: We'll have a morning meditation, then breakfast and the morning will be spent with a walk through the jungle, getting to know the medicinal plants. Then we'll have lunch and you'll have the afternoon free to rest. Afterward, Again, we'll meet at 12 pm for a meditation and to clear up any questions before the ceremony, which will take place that night at 9 pm.
Day 3: We'll start the day with a group chat to help us process the experience, then we'll have lunch and take a walk in the jungle. Between 11 am and 12 pm, we'll say goodbye, fully refreshed.
4-Day Ceremony
This itinerary will follow a similar structure to the previous one but will be extended by an additional day and feature a more immersive experience. Ceremonies will take place on the first and third days, with the afternoon and evening in between reserved for rest and meditation in preparation for the next ceremony.
7-Day Ceremony
The itinerary will be the same as the previous ceremonies, but this one includes 2 ayahuasca healing ceremonies and a shamanic diet based on oats, quinoa, and wheat. In addition, you'll take a medicinal plant that helps to further purify the body and mind.
The days when there is no ceremony will be used to relax and process the experience. During free time, you can walk in the jungle, swim in the natural springs, meditate or make use of the magnet therapy treatments.
Food and Accommodation
This activity includes 1, 2, 3, or 6 nights of accommodation at the Allkamari Retreat Center in La Paz.
For the 3-, 4-, and 7-day options, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included. However, please note that it’s not recommended to eat or have dinner on the nights prior to the ayahuasca ceremony, so meals on those days are not included. Included meals consist of a starter, main course, a drink, and fruit.
