Discover one of the places explorer Jacques Cousteau fell in love with during his time in New Zealand with this Poor Knights Islands Cruise from Auckland.
Poor Knights Islands Cruise
At 7 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Auckland. From there, we'll take the road north to the town of Whangarei.
Once there, we'll get off the minibus to visit one of the main attractions of the area, the famous Whangarei Falls. We'll go through the lush vegetation that is so characteristic of New Zealand until we reach this impressive waterfall. Photo moment!
We'll then head towards the town of Tutukaka to board a boat that will take us to the Poor Knights Islands. All aboard! We'll sail away from the coast and start sailing in the direction of this protected archipelago while enjoying the beautiful views.
Throughout the cruise, we'll try to spot the friendly inhabitants of these waters. Did you know that in this area you can see dolphins, whales and even killer whales? Let's see if we're lucky and get to see some of these fascinating animals! We'll also anchor the boat several times and provide you with snorkelling equipment so that you can explore this rich marine nature reserve on your own.
After enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Poor Knights Islands, we'll return to the mainland, to take you back to Auckland arriving at your hotel at 7 pm.
