El Calafate Wine and History Tour
After meeting at the El Calafate Historical Museum at 6 pm, we'll dive straight into the culture of the area visiting its exhibitions sharing historical accounts of ancient Calafate. Then we'll continue on foot through the city, visiting different attractions, accompanied by a local guide, expert in the city's fascinating history.
Then we'll make our way to a viewpoint close to the museum, to drink in the stunning valley which forms around the El Calafate stream. Then our route continues, visiting the Chapel of Santa Teresita del Niño Jesús, before stopping to visit the first house in El Calafate.
Then it's on to the Los Glaciares National Park. A stunning sight, totally unique in the world. There we will explain the importance of these large areas of water and ice for the region.
The last stop will take place at the Hotel Posada Los Álamos winery, where we'll enjoy a Patagonian snack and some delicious empanadas. We will accompany these products with a tasting of different Argentine wines.
