An ancient "New Bridge", the beautiful Mondragon Palace, Spain's oldest bullring... Don't miss exploring one of Andalusia's most picturesque towns on this day trip to Ronda including a guided tour of a traditional winery and a tasting of local wine and tapas.

Ronda Day Trip & Wine Tasting Itinerary

On the morning of your tour, meet your guide in the centre of Malaga. From there, you'll board a luxury bus and head west in the direction of the historic city of Ronda. Throughout your journey, which will last around an hour and a half, you'll have fantastic panoramic views over the beautiful natural parks of the Andalusian countryside: admire the rugged hilly landscapes of Sierra de Grazalema, Sierra de las Nieves and Los Alcornocales.

Arriving in Ronda, you'll discover the city's most iconic monuments, beginning with the famous Puente Nuevo. The "New Bridge", as it translates, was ironically built in the 18th century, and it spans the dramatically steep gorge of the Guadalquivir River, connecting the two halves of the picturesque town.

Continue following your English-speaking guide around the winding whitewashed streets of Ronda, visiting the town's most important buildings. Admire the pretty 20th century Casa de Don Bosco, the Moorish-style courtyards of the Mondragon Palace and the Plaza de Toros, Spain's oldest bullring.

After exploring these landmarks with your guide, you'll have free time to take a stroll around Ronda's historic centre at your own pace, before you're taken to the outskirts of the city for the next part of your day trip.

Enjoy a guided tour of the Cortijo de los Aguilares bodega, a traditional local winery where an expert oenologist will take you through the wine producing process here as you visit the different areas of the site. For the cherry on the cake of an excellent excursion, enjoy a tasting of local wine accompanied by typical tapas. Cheers!

At the end of the day, you'll make the return journey to the centre of Malaga.
