We'll meet at the Puerto Quetzal cruise terminal and make our way to Antigua Guatemala. When we arrive we'll be guided around the old town which is considered to be the best preserved colonial city in Latin America.
As we wander around the city we'll admire the symbolic monuments and the Spanish colonial style architecture which characterises Antigua Guatemala. We'll walk along the vibrant streets and be charmed by La Merced Church, one of the most important churches in the city, the Santa Catalina Arch, the Central Park and San José Cathedral.
Following on, you'll be taken to Kawilal hot springs, where you'll be surrounded by peace and tranquillity within the 12 pools and 25 steam rooms. Did you know that the thermal waters are of volcanic origin?
Afterwards, we'll go to Fonda del Castillo restaurant for lunch to enjoy a delicious meal. Then we'll head back to Puerto Quetzal.
