Yosemite 3 Day Camping Tour
Itinerary
Day 1: San Francisco - Yosemite National Park
We'll meet at O’Farrell Street at the time indicated and board a minibus to Yosemite National Park. Along the way, we'll pass through Central Valley and see some of the most well-known farming feels in California, such as nuts, almonds, cherries and strawberries. Once in the park, the first image we'll see will be of the famous giant sequoias. They can reach up to 90 metres (300 feet) tall!
To explore the area better, we'll climb to 1300 metres (4265 feet) above sea level to get some of the best views in the area, such as Tunnel View, El Capitán, Half Dome and Bridalveil Falls. Don't forget your camera!
Upon arrival at our destination, we'll set up camp. After erecting the tents, we'll feel like true explorers and relax until the next day.
Day 2: May Lake - Mount Hoffmann
We'll wake up early and prepare breakfast. Then, we'll start a tour to Yosemite High Country.
Throughout the day, we'll explore the most picturesque lakes in Yosemite, such as May Lake. Here, we'll also see Mount Hoffmann. You'll have 2 options: climbing to the peak of this mountain or spending the rest of the day around the lake and enjoying a picnic. You choose!
In the afternoon, we'll return to camp and have dinner around the warmth of a bonfire.
Day 3: Yosemite Valley - San Francisco
After breakfast, we'll start to take our tents down. All hands on deck!
Then, we'll head to Yosemite Valley where you can explore this area at your own pace. We recommend walking along the shore of the Merced River and relaxing here. Between the months of May and July, you can even go rafting here if you like.
Finally, we'll return to San Francisco at the end of the day.
Accommodation
This 3-day tour includes 2 nights of full-board accommodation. All meals are included, except lunch on the first day and dinner on the third.
The price indicated is per person in a 2-person tent. If you come alone, you'll share a tent with another guest. You can bring your own sleeping bag or reserve one at an additional cost.
