Embark on a 1.5-hour tour of Warsaw’s emblematic Royal Castle and learn about the fascinating Polish monarchs accompanied by a knowledgeable guide.

Greet your English-speaking guide at 2:30pm in front of the famous Sigismund's Column in Castle Square. Once there, marvel at the magnificent Royal Castle of Warsaw, erected in mid fourteenth century. This enormous edifice not only served as the official residency of the Polish monarchy but was also used for administrative and cultural functions.

Once inside, follow your guide into its numerous beautifully decorated rooms. You’ll be blown away by the palace’s paintings and furniture, collected by the various Polish royal families. Your guide will uncover how the Polish kings were elected as individuals and not as dynasties, unlike the rest of Europe and other unusual facts.

If you like art, you’ll enjoy wandering through the Rembrandt room and Canaletto room, full of masterpieces by these artists.

Another highlight of the tour is when you step inside the astonishing Great Assembly Hall and Throne Room.

Sadly, the Royal Castle was one of the many buildings destroyed during the Second World War. It was amazingly restored thanks to the paintings made of the palace.
