Nuraghe Arrubiu Trip
At 8:45 am, we will meet in Piazza Yenne square in Cagliari and hop on the minibus that will take us to Nuraghe Arrubiu. The journey to these amazing ancient ruins takes just one hour.
Once we arrive at the archaeological complex, we will take a guided tour on foot to discover its exciting history. We will learn what the Nuraghe of Sardinia are and how they were built by the Nuragic civilization.
We will explore the Arrubiu complex, known as the Red Giant, and see more than 20 magnificent towers and the remains of an ancient wall. The central building still stands at 50 ft high today, but was twice this size during the Bronze Age and thought to be the tallest European structure of that era.
After an amazing visit of one hour and a half, we will return to the minibus and head back to the original starting point in Cagliari, arriving at 12:45 pm.
