Spanish Food & Wine Tasting

You'll enjoy a selection of cold meats: jamón ibérico, the cured ham made from black Iberian pigs; lomo, or pork loin; salchichón, a type of Spanish sausage similar to salami; and chorizo, the famous spicy sausage. You'll also be served cured cheeses, crunchy torreznos, or pork scratchings, and other treats from Spanish cuisine that will make this a truly unforgettable experience right in the heart of Madrid.

The shop and restaurant where you'll feast on these delicacies, Viandas de Salamanca, stands out as one of the establishments with the best selection of typical Spanish products, making it the ideal place to indulge in the tastes of Spain. Inside a captivating local-style bar, you'll be delighted by this food and wine tasting experience.

When making your reservation, you'll have the choice between two menu options:

4 dish menu

  • Portion of Iberian ham that has been cured for 30 months.
  • Selection of cheeses: sheep's cheese cured in Syrah wine; semi-cured sheep's cheese and goat's cheese coated in thyme.
  • Selection of Iberian cured meats: chorizo, lomo and salchichón.
  • Crunchy torreznos.
  • Two glasses of Hacienda Zorita wine.

 

5 dish Ibérico menu

  • Portion of Iberian ham that has been cured for 30 months.
  • Selection of cheeses: sheep's cheese cured in Syrah wine; semi-cured sheep's cheese and goat's cheese coated in thyme.
  • Selection of Iberian cured meats: chorizo, lomo and salchichón.
  • Crunchy torreznos.
  • Tortilla de patata (typical Spanish potato omelette).
  • A glass of Marqués de la Concordia cava.

 

Important information

  • Both menu options include a portion of bread, extra virgin olive oil and water.
  • While the price shown is per person, the tapas portions indicated are for two people.
