See giraffes, rhinos, ostriches and more on this fascinating private tour of the Nairobi National Park, which also includes a visit to an elephant orphanage.
Nairobi National Park Tour
After picking you up from your hotel in the capital, we'll head to the outskirts of the city to visit one of the few natural spaces located so close to an urban area. We are of course talking about the famous Nairobi National Park: an area of almost 74 square miles (120 km) which is home to hundreds of African animal species.
For approximately three hours we'll enjoy an unforgettable photographic safari around the Nairobi National Park. You'll surely be amazed as you see giraffes, zebras, rhinos, leopards, ostriches and more roam around with the city's skyline in the background. On our tour, we'll also see a large number of native birds- there are more than 400 different species!
Halfway through the morning we'll take a rest for you to have breakfast (not included, don't forget to request a picnic from your hotel), and once we've replenished our energy we'll head to the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage. This elephant preservation and protection centre takes in elephant calves whose mothers have been killed by poachers or ivory traffickers and offers them the care and protection they need. We'll be able to see the centre's work first-hand, interact with the baby elephants and even bottle feed them.
After our approximately hour-long visit to the elephant orphanage, we'll return to your hotel in Nairobi.
All of our providers comply with local legislation and applicable health recommendations regarding protective material and safety to help avoid the spread of Covid-19.
